I recently purchased this set of stones for spellcasting and meditation. The stones are large – an excellent size and really pretty. This is a great set to use as elemental representations, and to anchor the elements during your magick circle but also great to use in an elemental meditation.

The elemental meditation is easy – You can put the stones in a circle around you in the proper elemental directions, and sit in the center. Then, in your mind’s eye go through each element clockwise, feeling its power, energy and cleansing. I generally keep the Akasha stone (petrified wood for this set) with me in the center during this meditation. You can also do one element at a time – when I do this I pair it with the Akasha as well. I hold the Akasha stone in my projective hand and whichever elemental stone I am working with in my receptive hand.

Another idea is to just carry with you – like a talisman – the stone representing the element you feel you need help from. Recently I was recovering from serious illness, and carried with the Fire stones (Red Jasper) to help me get stronger and that along with rest and keeping up my vitamins has worked wonderfully. These are just some ideas – but this set is very versatile and can be used for anything really.

You will find that after you use these stones for a while, they tend to get “infused” with each element – which only makes them better and stronger. I also love the natural burlap bags that this seller – Raven Moonlight – uses for their stone pouches. Its very natural and helps to keep the energies of the stones intact better than other synthetic bags. I have purchased many of the stone sets from them – but this one is my favorite and the one I use my often. Enjoy!
